AND there is the open question of his intent. If his intent is that he wouldn&#039;t, say, ask others to break the law, or behave badly in some other manner, because he wouldn&#039;t - OK. But that is at best implied.
So to your point, Michele, a leader needs to be specific and explicit. Cliches using implicit assumptions and unknown intent leave everyone dangling.

Maybe he is an axe murderer and so thinks its OK to ask others to be one too.
